Special Stainless Steel

Introduction

NiWire focuses on nickel alloys and special stainless steels. In stainless steel field, our strength are super duplex stainless steels, Nitronic 60, 904L, 254SMO, 17-4PH and so on.

Excellent galling resistance at high temperatures. It is commonly used for various fasteners and pins that require strength and resistance to galling.

It is a high strength and good corrosion resistant austenitic stainless steel. It has nearly double the yield strength of 304 and 316 stainless steel and has better corrosion resistance than 317L stainless steel.

It has excellent corrosion resistance to a wide variety of media, with outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in seawater and other chloride containing environments.

It combines the most desirable characteristics of both ferritic and austenitic steels. SuperDuplex is used in the oil and gas industry, on offshore platforms, in heat exchangers, chemical processing equipment pressure vessels and boilers.

It is a second-generation, nitrogen-alloyed duplex stainless steel (ferritic-austenitic). It is a cost effective solution for many applications where the 300 series stainless steels are susceptible to chloride stress corrosion cracking.

It is a precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel with Cu and Nb/Cb additions. 17-4 PH is a versatile material widely used in the aerospace, chemical, petrochemical, food processing, paper and general metalworking industries.

It is an austenitic stainless steel designed for maximum resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. 254SMO offers chloride resistance superior to that of Alloy 904L Alloy 20, Alloy 825.

It is an austenitic special steel with high molybdenum content as well as addition of copper and extremely low carbon content. 904L provides good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.
