General Description
15-5PH is a commonly used precipitation hardening stainless steel with excellent mechanical properties. The chromium and copper content of steel is lower than that of 17-4PH, and the nickel content is slightly increased. In addition to its high strength, 15-5PH has the outstanding advantages of high transverse toughness and good forgeability. Its corrosion resistance is comparable to that of 17-4PH.
15-5PH precision ground bar made by NIWIRE is mainly used in environments where high strength, good toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance are required. Such as high-pressure waterjets, high-strength forgings, high-pressure system valve components, aircraft parts, etc.
