General Description
NW 235T is a Fe-Cr-Al alloy used in arc and flame spraying systems. They can produce dense, well-bonded coatings with excellent wear and high temperature oxidation resistance.
Equivalent to:
TAFA Alcro
Typical Applications
- Applications where good corrosion and oxidation Resistance is required
- Applications for wear resistance such as erosion and abrasion
- Machine element repair and restoration
- Resistance to chloride-ion attack in marine environments
- As a replacement for hard chrome plating
- Bond coats in high-temperature coating systems,
- Protective coatings against sulphur-containing atmospheres
- Protective coatings against scaling of conventional low alloy steels.
