General Description
ER2209 is a filler metal to weld duplex stainless steels such as UNS S31803 and S32205. The weld metal has a high tensile and yield strength. This alloy offers good resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion.
ER2209 is used for pipe work and general fabrication in the offshore oil, gas and chemical process industries.
