High Temperature Alloy

Introduction

Nowadays more electronic components, more facilities, equipments and parts are being used in high temperatures. As a result, high temperature alloys are in a growing need to improve products and equipments, reduce the equipment maintenance frequency, etc.

High temperature alloy provide strength, environmental resistance and stability within the 500°F (260°C) to 2200°F (1205°C) temperature range. They have been used generally in the presence of combustion from heat sources such as turbine engines, reciprocating engines, power plants, furnaces and pollution control equipment.

NiWire has more than 20 years experience in melting technology, processing technology, quality control system and researching on nickel based alloys and Iron-nickel based alloys.

Inconel 601 is designed to resist high temperature oxidising atmospheres in the heat treatment of metals and materials. Inconel 601 is made into industrial furnace retorts and muffles, baskets, jigs and fixtures.

For its outstanding high-temperature strength, Inconel 718 is made into components for liquid fueled rockets, rings, casings and various formed sheet metal parts for aircraft and land-based gas turbine engines.

In gas turbines, it is used for rotor blades and wheels, bolts. Inconel X-750 is used extensively in rocket-engine thrust chambers.

Excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. Mainly used as heat treatment furnace material.

Better high-temperature strength than Nimonic 75. Used under high stress.

Allows use in higher temperatures than Nimonic 80A. Used for jet engines and internal combustion parts.

Has good high-temperature strength, and also resistant to oxidation and carburization . Used in petrochemical high-temperature reactors.

Alloy with better high-temperature strength and higher creep rupture strength than Incoloy 800.

Precipitation-enhanced type alloy that has excellent high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. Used for jet engine parts.

Has good high-temperature strength and excellent oxidization resistance.
